Encouraging because author Wanda Aybar-Soto’s lifelong testimony—from the time she fell in love with Christ as a young girl to her life now as an adult follower – is a wonderfully authentic illustration of what it looks like to live a life of worship. The author effectively blends her life’s experiences with stories from the Bible to show why continuous worship of God is critical for those wanting to know and draw closer to God.
The convicting part, for me, comes in knowing that I sometimes let life get in the way of me and God. Yet, as the author so skillfully shows, God remains faithful and good always, even when I ignore Him; when I seek Him and praise Him, in good times and not-so-good times, it is then that I feel and know His peace. His gift of grace is truly amazing. As the apostle Paul writes, “Rejoice in the Lord always!”
Simply Praise Him is a wonderful book for new and mature Christ-followers alike. The book’s message and its Biblical references could and should be effective resources for all of us looking for ways to share Jesus with others. It doesn’t matter if your fell in love with Christ as a child as did the author or later in life as did I. What matters is that we Simply Praise Him. Amen!

Wanda rightfully puts the spotlight on God in this concise book. She consistently draws her readers away from the human tendency to focus on self and discover that true essence of praise is all about God. Wanda is a resident in the Greater Cleveland area. Born in New York City, she moved to the Dominican Republic during her early youth. There she served as an English teacher to both second and third graders.
Wanda has also had the opportunity to live in various states throughout her adult life. Wanda has fellowshipped in many congregations throughout her travels but calls home Oasis de Bendicion Church in Cleveland, Ohio. As a long time member she serves on the board and is a leader in the women’s ministry. She is currently a staff member of Ebenezer Bible Institute, where she graduated with honors with a four-year degree in biblical studies. There she teaches on the principles of the New Testament and the history of the early Church. She also serves as their treasurer. Wanda invites readers to participate in a life of true worship and along with her Simply Praise Him.
